On New Year’s Day my friends and I went snow tubing with our families. We had a lot of fun! I was tall enough to go on the grown-ups hill. There was lots of snow on the mountain! After we got finished tubing we went to a restaurant for dinner.

It sounds like you had a great start to the new year! Sledding is one of my very favorite things to do. It sounds like you were able to go to the big hills and sled with all the big kids. Did you go super fast? Did you sled alone or where you able to double up? We had fun sledding at home down our driveway earlier this week when it snowed. I hope it snows again soon and lasts longer.

Dear Grady,
It sounds like a lot of work to have to hike up Mount Hood! but it also sounds like a lot of fun! My family can not often go on hiking trips, because we are a big group of people. My mom and dad have 4 children including me. I want to learn more a bout the things you saw hiking up on Mount Hood. I hope that my family will get to go more often on hiking trips.
